More on Our New Online Courses

Starting in September, Flatiron School students will be able to begin programs in Data Science and Software Engineering, at three different paces and levels of intensity: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Self-Paced.

We created these new courses after learning a lot from two and a half years running the Online Web Developer Program. Not all students learn the same way, and through our experiences with you, our students, we’ve tried to identify new structures and service offerings that could fit more closely with what a given student is looking for, in both their learning experience, and in their life.

We know our current students may have questions about the new courses, and what they mean for your current experience. While you can learn more about our new programs below, know that nothing about your current program has changed: You’ll still have access to all the curriculum, instructor support, educational coaching, and community features you’re used to in the Online Web Developer course. We’re not going anywhere!

With that in mind, we’ve launched six new programs, which students will be able to enroll in for start dates beginning September 24. They are: Full-time, Part-Time, and Self-Paced programs in both Software Engineering and Data Science.

Details of each program pace are below:

The current Online Web Developer course looks similar to the self-paced Online Software Engineering  Bootcamp option, with a few key differences:

  • Online Web Developer students have unlimited Technical Mentorship sessions
  • Online Web Developer students have unlimited Educational Coaching support
  • Online Web Developer students have access to one-year WeWork Hot Desk memberships
  • Online Web Developer students have curriculum access for 18 months

All Online Software Engineering Bootcamp and Online Web Developer courses will have access to the exact same curriculum, Learn.co platform, alumni network, and support from our world-class Career Services team.

If you’d like to speak with us about the new programs or your current enrollment, or reach out to us any time at info@flaironschool.com – we’re here to answer your questions.
