Flatiron School is proud to announce the launch of a new campus in Atlanta. This will mark the sixth Flatiron School campus and the first in the southeast United States.

“We’re excited to announce our first campus in Atlanta and become a part of the thriving business community here” said Adam Enbar, CEO and co-founder of Flatiron School. “Home to so many established and growing companies, Atlanta is poised to become an epicenter for today’s top talent. By opening a campus here it will ensure that local companies don’t have to look far to find the best and brightest employees.”

Flatiron School’s Atlanta campus continues our mission to make education accessible since opening the doors to our flagship campus in New York City in 2012. The Atlanta campus will be located at WeWork’s Colony Square location in Midtown Atlanta and easily accessible by public transportation.

Applications are now open for Atlanta’s inaugural class that will start on Sept. 17, 2018. Atlanta will be home to our flagship Software Engineering Immersive, which has already helped thousands of students launch their careers in tech. In our latest independently audited Jobs Report, 97 percent of eligible graduates have accepted job offers. Our Software Engineering Immersive in Atlanta will have the same money-back guarantee as our other career-change courses.

Students can also enroll in two part-time skill courses. Our Intro to Front-End Web Development bootcamp is perfect for anyone who is looking to gain an edge or advance their career by adding new coding skills. Our Intro to Data Science course will teach the fundamentals of data science and serves as the ideal gateway to this rapidly expanding field.

We’re also excited to announce our partnership with Atlanta-based Opportunity Hub (OHUB) to offer $1 million in scholarships per year for underserved students of color across the country. Since its inception, Flatiron School has provided over $10 million in scholarships to diverse populations, helping to bridge the gap by making technology education more accessible for women and underrepresented communities.

Atlanta joins NYC, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Houston, and our first international campus in London. We look forward to joining the city’s vibrant tech community and fostering these connections through events, informative panels, workshops, and study sessions.

If you’re in Atlanta and want to learn more, Flatiron School is hosting an Atlanta Launch Party on Aug. 8, 2018 at 6:30pm. The event will be a great way to tour the new campus, network with Flatiron School and WeWork teams, and learn more about our courses. Save your spot today!

As Flatiron School continues to expand, with the support of WeWork, look for more campuses to launch in the US and beyond.
