Over our five years as a school, we’ve helped over one thousand students learn to code and launch careers in tech. To achieve these outcomes, we’ve never let ourselves stop growing – we’ve constantly iterated on our curriculum, evolved our teaching techniques, and created technology to improve our students’ learning experience.

Today, we’re thrilled to share the next step in our growth: Flatiron School has joined the WeWork family.

For those who may not know WeWork, the company was founded in 2010 with the idea of building not just beautiful, shared office spaces but creating a world where people work to make a life, not just a living. The entire ecosystem is designed, built and operated to provide WeWork members with everything they need to focus on doing what they love and creating their life’s work.

In WeWork, we’ve found a partner who shares the mission we’ve had since the beginning: to enable passionate people to learn the skills they need to pursue careers and lives they love. And that mission won’t change. As part of WeWork, we look forward to working together to expand our in-person and online programs and further increase accessibility to our transformative education.

We’ve found a partner who shares the mission we’ve had since the beginning: to enable passionate people to learn the skills they need to pursue careers and lives they love. And that mission won’t change.

This partnership will allow us to enhance the learning experience for our students and opens up exciting possibilities for the future – Flatiron School programs in new venues, new courses and curricula, advances in our learning technology, and a continued investment in combining the best of online and in-person into blended learning models. And for our alumni, it will be even easier to reconnect with our community, with meetups, reunions, and skill-up courses in the works at WeWork spaces.

Like Flatiron School, WeWork realizes that our shared vision for the future of work and education is only possible by fostering dynamic, supportive communities – something you’ll immediately feel stepping into our campus at 11 Broadway or any of the 170+ WeWork locations around the world. Together, with a commitment to community above all, we have the potential to profoundly change how people learn the skills needed to pursue their life’s work.

We’re excited to share more in the coming weeks and months about what we have planned for this new phase for Flatiron School and how our two communities will grow together. Stay tuned.

If you’re a prospective, current, or former student, we’re sure you have additional questions about what this news means for you. We invite you to learn more about this partnership on our siteread our FAQs or reach out.

Learn. Love. Code.
